1980: Greg as the smuggest 11 year old imaginable, DJing at California Cliffs Holiday Camp, Great Yarmouth.
1989: On stage at the Central Television Roadshow in Peterborough with that day's equivalent of Katie Price, Grotbags.
1989: In a relaxed Central Roadshow moment in Shrewsbury, with the man they call "Mr Blockbusters" - Bob Blockbusters.
1989: Peterborough - Laughs all round as footballing legend, Emlyn Hughes, tells Greg how much more money he's on.
1993: Tolroy Manor Holiday Park, Hayle, Cornwall. Another child falls victim to Greg's "Pull My Finger" joke.
1994: One of these radio presenters went on to star on Radio One and Childrens' TV. It wasn't the gap toothed one. It wasn't the one who's trying to hypnotise you. And the ginger one is a competition winner - Not a young Chris Evans. The one with the floppy hair is the "Joel" part of JK & Joel.
Greg being "wacky" in that irritating and excrutiating local radio personality way.
1994: And the Countdown team pose in a photograph to celebrate 1500 editions of the programme. Or "gammreorp". Greg is the one with the large face.
1997: GS with his absolute hero and the man that Jimmy Carr is rapidly morphing into - Bob Monkhouse. Greg is the pale one.
2000: Once again, Countdown loses out on the gong for Best Daytime Show at the National Television Awards, beaten by This Morning, Pebble Mill at One and The Best Of The Test Card. In the background, producer Damian is the only one smiling, because only he knows the guy behind him is being photographed rooting a gringo out of his right nostril.
1995: Jonathan waits for the Rohypnol in Greg's drink to kick in.
1997: Danny and Chris find Greg's attempt to keep up with them in the "Let's Kill Our Livers Game" most amusing.
1996: The worst possible photograph of three normally beautiful men. Not good.
1995: And Greg shows the position he had to adopt to land the job co-hosting this particular show.
